Recognizing the impact of high solar radiation and surface heat accumulation on high-rise residential properties, our technical team conducted an on-site architectural evaluation at Park View Tower on Reem Island, Abu Dhabi. Through glass surface temperature readings, resident feedback, and HVAC load assessments, we identified severe operational challenges caused by untreated exterior glazing: excessive solar heat gain, unbearable interior glare, high air conditioning power consumption, and fading of interior furnishings. The project required a high-performance retrofit solution engineered for extreme solar exposure without compromising structural aesthetics.

Solution

To resolve these architectural challenges, our team executed a specialized exterior installation of Reflective Silver 20 Exterior Window Film across the building's outer glass facade.
